Editing a saved rule changes every form that uses it

Forms point at a saved rule rather than keeping their own copy, so a change here applies to all of them — including forms that are already deployed, because a form is rebuilt from the current rule each time it is deployed. Before saving, check the list of affected forms shown with each rule.

New saved rules are created from a form’s Rules tab, where the conditions can be authored against that form’s fields. This screen manages a rule’s name, family and scope — and is the only place one can be changed or removed.
